Watercolors have become my favorite medium of expression because of their soft beauty and depth. Vibrant florals, animal life, and luscious fruits and vegetables are my favorite subjects. Growing up in Evansville, Indiana, I spent many happy summers on my grandfather’s dairy farm in northern Kentucky. Bright spring colors, verdant hillsides, and brilliant red, orange and yellow fall leaves are special memories and have inspired my artwork. I have worked in a variety of art media such as ceramics, wood, handmade dichroic glass beads and oils. I am continuing my study of art by attending university classes and workshops given by well-known artists. My paintings have been exhibited at galleries and wineries throughout the California Central Coast and in private collections. I am a member of the El Camino Art Association, the San Luis Obispo Art Center, Los Padres Artist Guild, Artists Guild of the Santa Ynez Valley and a Charter Member of the Nipomo Art Commission.
